TICA Highlander Breed Section member 

Highlanders are a medium size cat with curled ears and naturally short tails. The ears curl back and point to a spot on the back of the cat like a capital C or crescent moon shape.  The tails range from 2 inches to the hock (back knee of the cat).Highlanders are registered with The International Cat Association (TICA) which is recognized by all major cat associations around the world. Remember if it is not TICA it is not a Highlander.  Currently the cats compete in Advanced New Breed category which is one step away from becoming a championship breed.These cats may look wild but no wild species was used to develop this breed.Highlanders are a very social cat and love being near and socializing with their people.
